Renato Berti (1884 - 1939), also known by his pseudonym 'René Ribet', was an Italian painter, engraver and draughtsman. He is known for his portraits, still lifes, country and cityscapes, horse racing scenes, illustrations of children's books and posters.

Renato Berti lived and worked in Italy and France. From about 1910 to 1938, he resided in Paris, where he joined the Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1923.

He exhibited in Naples, where he won a medal and in Rome. But he also participated in many exhibitions in France: in Deauville, Douai, Neuilly and of course in Paris, his second hometown, where he exhibited in the salons of the Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1911 to 1938.

In 1938, he returned to Italy, where he died the following year in Vicenza (near Venice).
